Who is this app for?
Check List_Y is for private individuals taking delivery of a Tesla Model Y (new or used) who want a structured inspection workflow.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. The checklist works offline. Internet is only required if you choose to share or save the generated PDF using external services.
Where are photos and data stored?
All photos and notes are stored locally on your device. No data is sent to external servers.
Can I export the result?
Yes. The app generates a complete PDF report that you can save or share directly from your phone.
I can’t share or save the PDF. What should I do?
First, try generating the PDF again. Then ensure you have at least a small amount of free storage available. If sharing fails, try a different target (e.g., Files, Mail) to confirm whether the issue is with a specific app/service.
The app can’t access the camera/photos. How do I fix it?
Check iOS permissions: Settings → Check List_Y → allow Camera and Photos (or “Add Photos Only” if available). If permissions are denied, image capture/selection will not work.
How do I reset the checklist?
Use “New check – empty list”. This clears selections, notes, and photos for the current check. Please note: this cannot be undone.
Why are some items not marked as completed?
Some sections require an explicit choice per item (e.g., OK / Not OK / Missing). Items left as “Select” are counted as not completed.
Can I add my own checklist items?
Yes. You can add custom items during your inspection to capture anything you want to remember or document.
